Route 619 Proposed Service Extension

We are proposing to extend route 619 services from Castle Hill to Rouse Hill via Kellyville. The new route extension would provide customers with services along President Road and Memorial Avenue.
Customers would have access to additional services between Rouse Hill, Castle Hill and Macquarie Park.
Services would operate 7 days a week with 30 minute frequency during weekday peak and 60 minute frequency during weekday off peak, evenings and weekends.

Following a review of customer feedback, we are proposing to introduce changes from 17 June 2013.

Route 632 Service Changes

From 17 June 2013, route 632 will nolonger operate between Pennant Hills and Hornsby.
Customers can board existing Metrobus M60 which provides high frequency services between Castle Hill, Pennant Hills and Hornsby.
Additional early morning and evening services will be available on route 632 between Castle Hill and Castlewood Estate.

Route 620X Minor Service Change
14 May, 2013
From 17 June 2013, longer buses will be used on route 620X, providing greater capacity for customers.
Due to safety concerns turning left from Jenner Road onto New Line Road, services will no longer operate via Jenner Road.
Customers boarding at Jenner Road can access services along James Henty Drive, alternatively board route 622 or 626 services and transfer on New Line Road.

New timetable on route 611

Commencing Monday 13 May 2013
From 13 May 2013, additional services will be provided on Hillsbus, route 611 from Blacktown to Macquarie, via Seven Hills.
Three additional trips will be provided on route 611 during morning peak and two additional trips will be provided in the afternoon peak, increasing service frequency to approximately 5-10 minutes.
There will be some minor changes to existing timetabled trips and running times, improving the reliability of these services.
New timetables are available online and will be distributed to customers on these routes.

Commencing Monday 13 May 2013
From 13 May 2013, additional services will be provided on Hillsbus routes 607X/617X from Rouse Hill to the City, via T-way, route 615X from Kellyville to the City, via Windsor Road and route 616X from Kellyville Ridge to the City, via Glenwood.
Six additional trips will be provided on route 607X/617X during morning and afternoon peak periods, increasing service frequency to approximately 5-10 minutes.
Four additional trips will be provided on route 615X during the morning peak, three additional trips will be provided during the afternoon peak, with new services departing earlier and later than the previous timetable.
Three additional trips will be provided on route 616X during the morning and afternoon peak, with extra services departing the City early in the afternoon.
There will be some minor changes to existing timetabled trips and running times, improving the reliability of these services.
New timetables are available online and will be distributed to customers on these routes.
The new 607X-617X Timetables are currently available online and via 131500.

Additional services on routes 602 and 612

Commencing Monday 25 February
New buses will provide additional services from Monday 25 February, on Hillsbus route 602 (Rouse Hill to North Sydney, via St Leonards) and route 612 (Kellyville to Milsons Point, via St Leonards) and some running time changes have been applied to reflect traffic conditions.
Three additional trips will be provided on route 602 during both morning and afternoon peak periods, increasing service frequency to
approximately every 15-20 minutes.
Five additional trips will be provided on route 612 during the morning peak, and four additional trips will be provided during the afternoon peak.
There will also be some minor changes to existing timetabled trips to and from Kellyville to improve the reliability of these services.

Northern CBD Bus Improvements - Monday 18 February
04 February, 2013
From Monday 18 February, some bus services from the north west will enter the CBD via the Cahill Expressway during morning peak periods.
Between 6am and 10am on weekdays, the following Hillsbus services which currently use York Street to access the CBD from the Sydney Harbour Bridge, will now use the Cahill Expresswayand enter the city via Bridge Street:
620, 620X, 642, 642X, 650, 650X and 652X
These bus services will continue to use the existing bus route and bus stops after 10am and for all services departing the City.
These services will run along Bridge, Pitt and Castlereagh Streets and terminate at Market Streetnear Pitt Street.
Customers travelling beyond Market Street towards Railway Square can transfer to Sydney Buses services 422, 423, 426 and 428 at no extra cost. These changes are designed to relieve congestion in the CBD and improve reliability and journeytimes for customers travelling in the northern end of the city.
There are some minor changes to the running times to help improve the reliability of these services. Customers are advised to check the timetable for revised departure times.

Timetable changes for Dural area services

On Monday 18 February, Hillsbus will be introducing a new timetable for some Dural services and include the weekday Northern CBD
bus diversions.
There are some minor changes to the running times on some services to improve service reliability. Most of these changes apply to weekdayservices, resulting in some minor variations in expected arrival times.
All Saturdays & Sundays Route 651 services from Castle Towers will commence 10 minutes earlier than the previous timetable, to allow
customers to transfer to the direct train service to the City at Beecroft and Macquarie University Stations.
In addition, the Sunday Route 637 services from Glenorie to Castle Hill will now operate 10 minutes earlier to connect with other bus services at Castle Hill Interchange.

Additional weekend 610X services
15 January, 2013
From Saturday 26 January, additional weekend services will be introduced on route 610X between Castle Hill and the City.
Two additional trips per hour, mornings, weekends and public holidays.
Two additional trips per hour will operate in the morning from Castle Hill until approximately 12:30pm. Also, two additional trips per hour will operate from the City from approximately 2:00pm on both
Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
This will result in a 10 minute combined frequency (routes 610, 610X and M61) on morning trips from Castle Hill to the City and on afternoon trips from the City to Castle Hill on weekends.

New timetable for routes 600 and M60

From Tuesday 29 January, new timetables will be introduced on routes M60 and 600 (Parramatta – Castle Hill – Hornsby).
These services will operate to a revised timetable, which will better reflect traffic conditions and incorporates feedback from customers, improving overall reliability and service.
Service hours and frequencies will remain the same, however many trips will depart earlier or later than the current timetable.
Customers are encouraged to check the timetable for the revised departure times.
New timetables will be available online and distributed to customers using these services, customers are advised tocheck new service times.

Additional 607X services
15 January, 2013
From Tuesday 29 January, additional weekday off-peak services will be introduced on route 607X between Rouse Hill and the City.
An additional 10 trips will be added to the timetable, increasing the service frequency on route 607X on weekdays to every 30 minutes between 10:00am and 3:00pm. There will be no change to existing peak hour, evening or weekend service times.

Fare increases from 6 January 2013

The NSW Government has announced fare increases which will take effect from Sunday 6 January 2013.
All adult MyZone single tickets will increase by 20 cents for train and ferry services and by 10 cents for bus services.

Northern CBD Bus Improvements
16 October, 2012
In early 2013, Transport for NSW will deliver the first stage of a key initiative designed to improve congestion in the CBD.
A number of bus services currently travelling along the Sydney Harbour Bridge to York Street in the CBD from the Hills District will be redirected along the Cahill Expressway during the morning peak times from 6am to 10am, Monday to Friday. These services will now travel into Bridge Street with a terminating stop on Market Street.
These changes aim to improve reliability and journey times for customers travelling to the northern end of the CBD.
